Colossal Advertising loss forecast for the end of 2020

 

According to Zenith’s latest Advertising Expenditure Forecasts, the advertising industry spend is expected to fall by 8% in central and eastern Europe, 13% in Latin America and 20% in the Middle East and North Africa by the end of 2020, with traditional media such as billboards and newspapers being largely more impacted than digital media. The advertising industry is set to take a $49 billion hit from coronavirus. The future of advertising remains uncertain as it largely depends on consumer behaviour and the economic situation’s evolution.
