The Covid-19 crisis has been a significantly disruptive element in a majority of businesses worldwide. As a result, many industries have been seriously impacted. But according to the Financial Times, the sanitary crisis has also triggered an unexpected entrepreneurial wave with more businesses being created by up to 18.5% compared to 2019, and many being of digital nature. This indicates that the economic landscape could be radically different after Covid-19, and conceivably even rebound thanks to digital businesses.
